EA Monster Bytes

EA Monster Bytes

A static page over the 2009-2010 fan database of the same name. The original was a Windows desktop viewer (EA_Monster_Bytes.exe); this page reproduces its data and its real labels, not a native app.

Where each table's label came from
Label shown hereCSV README's own nameSource
Mobsmobs.csvprogram ("Select A Mob:"; singular, pluralized for this table)
Gunsguns.csvprogram (verbatim: "<Race> - Guns", "GUN ITEM:")
Swordsswords.csvCSV README (the program itself calls this same data "Melee": "<Race> - Melee", "Smithy - Melee", not "Swords")
Armorarmor.csvprogram (verbatim, many confirmations: "ARMOR ITEM:", "Smithy - Armor", "Armor Channels")
Vehiclesvehicles.csvprogram (verbatim; also grouped as "Transportation" in the program's own sub-filters for this same data)
ShapeShift OrbsssOrbs.csvprogram (verbatim, exact casing)
Healsheals.csvprogram (verbatim)
Plants and MineralsplantsMinerals.csvprogram (verbatim, exact casing)
All Itemsall_Items.csvprogram (verbatim)
Alchemyalchemy.csvprogram (verbatim)
Engineeringengineering.csvprogram (verbatim)
Smithysmithy.csvprogram (verbatim)
Magicmagic.csvprogram (verbatim)

Only "Swords" differs from what the program itself calls that data (the program's own word for it is "Melee", e.g. "AP - Melee", "Smithy - Melee"); every other label above is the program's own literal text, verbatim, recovered from its .NET string heap (see the comment at the top of scripts/build_monsterbytes.py for how).
